The app is in development and has not been released. The details below describe the current product brief and implementation direction; they must be verified against the released service and approved before launch.
Data the current brief proposes to use
- Shop and order identifiers, order lines, product and variant identifiers, titles, SKUs and quantities needed to prepare the planned lists.
- Only the supported Zapiet pickup or local-delivery date fields needed to assign orders to a ready-by day.
- Merchant-created product mappings, selected date settings and saved working-version data.
- Messages a merchant chooses to send to the existing company support email.
The current v1 brief excludes customer names, addresses, email addresses and phone numbers from work lists and printed outputs. Actual API selections, logs and stored fields still need a final review against the released service.
Storage, security and retention
The current implementation uses an isolated PostgreSQL database on a company-hosted server. The hosting region, service providers, data access controls, encryption details, log and backup retention, and deletion schedule have not been approved for publication. This draft makes no retention or security guarantee.
Items to resolve before approval
- Confirm the actual data collected and purpose, then document access controls, hosting region and every service provider.
- Approve retention and deletion periods for live data, saved versions, logs, backups and support messages.
- Document the process for Shopify privacy requests, uninstall and merchant requests.
- Confirm the responsible legal operator, applicable jurisdictions, effective date and approved contact details.
- Review the final policy against the released app and the data Shopify authorizes it to access.
